The writings below the line are my analysis from July 29 to August 22. The analysis here is September 5, 2006.
 
The timing of events in the Israeli-Hezbollah War indicated a significance hinging off of the 9th of Av. The whole thing started 40 days earlier (June 25) and escalated on the 17th of Tammuz 21 days earlier. It then ended 12 days later on August 14th with the current cease fire. Therefore, all with significant numbers tied to the 9th of Av (12, 21, and 40) were used. This then leads to the possible significance of September 11, 2006 and Rosh Hashanah 2006 since they are also in this 12 and 40 day pattern, as well as components of the golden proportion shown in the diagrams below.
 
The significance of 12 is because the 12 spies gave their report on the 9th of Av after 40 days resulting in 40 years in the wilderness for the Exodus generation. Here then are some parallels with the present day:
 
  • 12 years from Comet Shoemaker-Levy 1994, which hit Jupiter on the 9th of Av lasting seven days, totaling 21 pieces.
  • 12 Israelis die in Hezbollah's war on the 9th of Av 2006 (August 3rd).
  • 12 inclusive days from 9th of Av (August 3rd) to August 14th (ceasefire).
  • 12 days from September 11, 2006 to Rosh Hashanah 2006.
  • 12 Rosh Hashanahs to go from 2006 to 2017. So we will be at Rosh Hashanah 12 on the countdown this year to 2017.

  • 40 inclusive days from June 25 (Gaza kidnapping) to 9th of Av (August 3rd).
  • 40 inclusive days from 9th of Av (August 3rd) to September 11, 2006.
  • 40 days from August 14 (ceasefire) to Rosh Hashanah 2006.

  • 21 Ninth of Avs from 1994 (21 pieces of Shoemaker-Levy) to 9th of Av 2014 (Signs of the End's placement of Daniel 8).

  • 9 Ninth of Avs from 2006 to 9th of Av 2014.

    There are all of these numbers, but then there is also the golden proportion. Seeing the possible importance of September 11 and Rosh Hashanah, it was remembered that these dates were combined in 1999 and that there was a solar eclipse in the Middle East before Elul 1 (first day of the 40 days of repentance). This was also significant since it would have been exactly 2,000 years since the conceptions of John the Baptist and Jesus the Messiah (2BC). A golden proportion from these days in 1999 to the two most significant days in 2017 (Yom Kippur and Hanukkah of day 1335), would come to the days of August 3 (Av 9) and August 14, 2006 (please see diagram below). The next step in the golden proportion highlights the days signified as well by 12 and 40--September 11, 2006 and Rosh Hashanah 2006.
     
    September 11th may or may not be another warning, but will that warning go any further with people than the ones we have seen this summer? We will have to wait and see on both accounts.
     
    On another note, previously it seemed that the golden proportion could have been pointing to August 22, which was a day many were looking to because of the Iranian president's promise. However, nothing happened. In reality the second proportions must be based off the time the first proportions highlighted. So the time must start from the end of August 3 and 14. These proprtions then fall on similar days of significance in 1999, but then point to September 11 and September 23 of 2006. So the days of Av 29 and Elul 1 are simply verifiers of the "coincident" themes. It might be easier to look at the diagram.

    The following diagram was conceived on July 29, 2006 after noticing three things that seem to point to this upcoming August 3, 2006--in 5 days. It may be the wake up call before events described in Signs of the Endbegin a few weeks later.
     
    1 - The war broke out noticeably when Israel bombed Lebanon on the 17th of Tammuz (July 13, 2006). The 17th of Tammuz is a significant day and one that points three weeks later to the 9th of Av. The 17th of Tammuz is the day Moses broke the 10 Commandments and the day the Babylonians and also the Romans broke through the walls of Jerusalem to end the sacrifices.
     
    2 - The first kidnapping and killings occurred on June 25th at Gaza. If we count this day and go to the 9th of Av, we will have 40 days. When the 12 spies during the Exodus gave their report on the ninth of Av it was day 40 of their spy mission. God then sentenced the nation of Israel to 40 years in the wilderness for each day they were spying. Numbers 14:34.
     
    3 - On the 9th of Av 1994, Comet Shoemaker-Levy slammed into Jupiter. Actually, 21 pieces slammed into Jupiter, which some have noted was similar to the three weeks (21 days) of mourning from the 17th of Tammuz. Also on this day in 1994 Hezbollah bombed a Jewish building in Buenos Aires killing hundreds. These events occurred 12 years ago to the Jewish day this Thursday. And remember, this day in history began with the report of the 12.
     
    Update 8/7/06--I updated the diagram to show the significance of the entire war with the "Days of Summer". No big event occurred on the 9th of Av, but each day on the diagram has some significance in showing that this current war is important and according to schedule. The 9th of Av was the bloodiest day up until that time. That it included 12 Israelis (4 soldiers and 8 civilians) seemed to show the significance of 12 on this day. That God did not allow further destruction on this day of sorrow for the Jews seems to be in line with the fact that God's purpose for this war is not judgment upon their nation. Since I believe this is the stage being set for Ezekiel 38-39 and Psalm 83, then this war will actually lead to severe judgment upon the nations who attack or do not help Israel. Three plus years ago I wrote in my book that Gog-Magog would probably occur in the fall of 2006 and end in the spring of 2007. It seems that everything is on course.

Here are some things, some of which has been brought to my attention at FiveDoves.com and from those who have e-mailed.
 
1 - September 11th is 40 days from and including the 9th of Av 2006 with a remaining balance of 12 days to Rosh Hashanah.
 
2 - August 14th (The day WWII ended with the surrender of Japan) is 12 days from and including the 9th of Av 2006 with a remaining balance of 40 days to Rosh Hashanah.
 
3 - If we take the golden proportion of these 52 days we will find that August 22nd is at that point. Actually to be precise, the point would be at the last 3 hours of the day. This is of course the day that the Islamic Republic of Iran has signified. However, now August 22nd is past. Will it be August 23rd? The PowerPoint show is updated to show more conclusions, if not, a linkage of dates that may have events or just a demonstration of the importance of this hour. I believe I made an error using 52 days, when I should have used the proportion based off the end of August 3rd, making it 51 days (underline portion updated 8/22/06)
 
What does this mean? I do not know. My advice is to wait and see if there is anything to this. This is just a pattern that I could not leave at my desk or under a basket. Maybe others will find more to this as well.
 
I posted the above at FiveDoves.com on August 10th, then I found out some more "peculiarities" concerning these days. There are these three days in our immediate future sandwiched between the 9th of Av and the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah). The date of August 14 is when WWII ended in 1945, but what could be significant with this day in 2006? There is also the day of August 22 that has been made popular by the president of Iran, so what may unfold on this day as well? The other day of September 11th will also bring back the memories of the terrorist attacks in the USA, but what is its significance? The first clue is September 11th.
 
The terrorist events of September 11th were five years ago, but there was also another September 11th that was important. That September 11th was in the year 1999. It was Rosh Hashanah that year and there had been a total solar eclipse in the Middle East thirty-one days before on Av 29, two days before Elul 1. Some Christians wondered if this was the year of the Rapture since Elul 1 is the beginning day of repentance pointing to the coming days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. The reasoning was that Joel speaks of a blackout of the sun before the Day of the Lord (and there was another eclipse this spring in the Middle East). Also some put the birth of Christ in 2 BC, making 1999 two thousand years after the fact. The view of the author is that 1999 is two thousand years after the conceptions of John and Jesus. But no Rapture happened in 1999. There was just the eclipse, but it may have been a marker to what we are seeing unfold seven years later.
 
With September 11th coming forty days after the 9th of Av in 2006 and the apparent use of the golden proportion for August 22, my thoughts went back to Rosh Hashanah 1999 (September 11th) since there was significance. Could this day be part of another golden proportion of the days this summer by tying into the significant end dates of 2017? Could this be done using exact day counts to see if the “impossible” were true? The first rough calculation using years showed that a proportion of 0.618 of 18 years (1999-2017) came to 11 years—the length of time from 2006 to 2017. So the possibility of exact day counts was possible, but very unlikely considering the odds.
 
To use exact day counts then meant that accuracy and precision were in order. This was the standard in the book Signs of the End. It also meant that the days used had to be significant in the Jewish calendar and also be of a common theme. It could not be arbitrary. This is why September 11th was so intriguing since it was a Rosh Hashanah after a solar eclipse in 1999 and that it was also the day that Islamic hatred should have awoke us in 2001. It is also interesting that five is the number for grace and now it will be five years from September 11, 2001.
 
So, if we count the days from and including September 11, 1999 (Rosh Hashanah) to September 30, 2017 (Yom Kippur--the day of Israel's salvation at the end of the Tribulation according to Signs of the End), there will be 6,595 days. Multiply those days by the golden proportion of 0.618 and the result is 4,076 days with 2,519 days on the other side of the dividing line of the proportion. Traveling the 2,519 days from September 11th, 1999 will come to the date of August 3, 2006 (9th of Av)—the date already highlighted by 12 and 40 days and the events preceding it according to the diagram above. So far the significance of the 9th of Av itself is subtle, but the days preceding it and after it will and have shown that this Israeli-Islamic War is happening according to schedule to show that God is in control. The accuracy and precision here is dead-on. 2,519 divided by 4,076 is 0.618008.
 
Of course, there is more and to be expected, if this is by design, since this has been the case before (this is because God requires multiple witnesses). If we count the days from and including August 13, 1999 (Elul 1 - First day of Repentance) to December 14, 2017 (Day 1335--75 days after Yom Kippur), there will be 6,699 days. Multiply those days by the golden proportion of 0.618 and the result is 4,140 days with 2,559 days on the other side of the dividing line of the proportion. Traveling the 2,559 days from August 13, 1999 will come to the date of August 14, 2006 (the day 12 days after the 9th of Av and 40 days before Rosh Hashanah). Therefore, this golden proportion also fits exactly and to the day, and not just any day, but to the days at this very time. Again the accuracy and precision is phenomenal. To go a day either way loses the precision of the formula. 2,559 divided by 4,140 equals 0.618116. Adjust it a day either way and it will not come closer. Of course, will people believe what God is laying out before us as the days are about to pass?
 
The big question is what will happen on these days leading up to Rosh Hashanah 2006. On a side note it is also interesting that Ramadan starts on Rosh Hashanah as well. The possibilities are endless, but for those watching there should be some significance. Av 9 was not a gigantic day, but it did have threats made openly from Islamic leaders, especially from Amadinijad of Iran at an emergency Islamic meeting in Putrajaya, Malaysia. It was also the bloodiest day at that point resulting in the deaths of twelve. The significance of the upcoming days is unknown, but it appears they will be part of the weave of events pointing our attention to Rosh Hashanah 2006, if we are looking. And it is only days away.
 
The golden proportion is significant in other ways as well. A proportion of the years from 1917 to 1967 will result in 1948. The year of 1917 was the Balfour Declaration and the gaining of Jerusalem from the Ottoman Empire in WWI by the British. Of course, 1948 was the establishment of Israel and 1967 was the regaining of Jerusalem--even the Temple Mount for a short period. If we are to repeat the golden proportion of fifty, the years would be 1967, 1998, and 2017. The significance of these years are explained in Signs of the End, but these ratios with the golden proportion were not understood at the time of writing the book. Now with the help of author Bonnie Gaunt there is further proof of the analysis. It would seem that God has placed many witnesses showing us what time it is.
 
The issue of signs is difficult because it challenges us to believe and have faith. We do not want to keep expecting signs because like those in Jesus' day, they were never satisfied with the signs. He called them an evil generation because they needed more proof. So He said that the only sign they would see again was the sign of Jonah (resurrection after three days). Here there are again many things pointing to one great sign--the resurrection of believers in Christ. Now is the time to believe in Christ and His work of salvation before this summer is past. This is the urgency.
